The adapter allows a bipolar cable to be connected to the corresponding socket of the device.

Applications:

Urology

The ARC 400 high-end electrosurgical device offers excellent support in bipolar/saline resection and enucleation.

The bipolar, transurethral resection with the ARC 400 is characterised by extremely reliable and consistent incision and cutting performance. When used in combination with saline solution, the bipolar technology reduces intraoperative and postoperative complications, making it possible to avoid TUR syndrome in the majority of cases.

The ARC 400 can be used in all urological operations.

Different current wave forms suiting the respective operations can be selected in the generator for optimal control of the operative outcome.

Gynaecology

The MetraLOOP® efficiently supports the removal of the uterus in the laparoscopic, supracervical hysterectomy and when used in combination with the MetraLOOP® current wave form which has been specially developed for this purpose in the ARC 350 and ARC 400, delivers unique haemostatic cutting performance.

The MetraBag ensures controlled tissue morcellation (uterus, myoma). The MetraBag was specially designed with the aim of avoiding the spreading of morcellated tissue.

Alongside the MetraLOOP® and the MetraBag, the LOTUS ultrasonic system, the ARC 400 high-end electrosurgical device with its touchscreen and integrated instrument recognition as well as the ERGO 315R vessel-sealing instrument round off our product portfolio in gynaecology.

General- and visceral surgery

There is a wide range of potential application areas for high-frequency and ultrasound surgery in general- and visceral surgery.

The reusable ERGO 315R bipolar vessel-sealing instrument in combination with our ARC 400 or ARC 350 HF surgical device represents an attractively priced complete package, particularly for laparoscopy. In addition, LOTUS ultrasonic dissectors can be used advantageously in all open and laparoscopic surgeries. As such, the BOWA product range has the whole spectrum of energy-based surgical requirements covered.

Bariatric surgery

The LOTUS ultrasonic dissector was designed specially for the requirements of bariatric surgery. The adjusted working length of the instruments, the precise dissection and the balanced degree of haemostasis ensure an optimal surgical result.

Liver surgery

The LOTUS ultrasonic liver resector was designed specially for use on liver parenchyma. The combination of patented torsional ultrasonic technology and unique tip geometry achieves an optimal haemostatic effect.

Alongside the LOTUS ultrasonic liver resector, the reusable ERGO 315R vessel-sealing instrument in combination with our ARC 400 surgical device and the BOWA argon probes complete the product portfolio for liver surgery.
